Manitoba opened MPNP draw to issue 602 Letters of Advice (LAAs)

Manitoba finally conducted the periodic draw of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) on September 2, 2021 to issue 602 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination this time around. This draw of MPNP was long awaited as the province opened the last draw almost a month back, i.e. on 12 August. As usual, the Manitoba has issued the invitations to Skilled Worker and International Education streams.

In 6th September draw; Manitoba issued 463 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination to Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream with a minimum score requirement of 445 points. Skilled Worker overseas stream received 84 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) this time around with a point score requirement of 698 points.

International Education stream of MPNP received 55 invitations this time around. Out of the total LAAs, Manitoba issued 101 to Express Entry candidates.       

Express Entry stream of MPNP

The Express Entry aligned stream of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) operates in cooperation with the federal Express Entry System of Canada. The MPNP explore the EE pool of candidates and issue notification to apply to the suitable candidates.

If you apply to relevant MPNP stream and able to get the provincial nomination, you become eligible to get 600 additional CRS points to your Express entry account, which in turn makes you eligible to get ITA (Invitation to Apply) for Canadian PR visa from Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
