Manitoba invites 34 candidates in MPNP- Special Immigration Measure draw on 20 March

In response to the ongoing situation in Ukraine, Manitoba is conducting special draws periodically. The latest Special Immigration Measure draw of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) opened on 20 March 2023 to invite 34 immigration candidates from Ukraine to apply for the provincial nomination.

Eligibility Criteria for this draw

The EOI in the raw considered if you:

• are a Ukrainian;
• have at least CLB 4 in each language ability
• have a connection to Manitoba (nearby relative, family-like, community, prior employment or studies in this province)
• have an approved language test
• Score minimum 60 points as per MPNP assessment criteria.
• can meet all other parameters of the Skilled Worker Overseas pathway, including enough settlement funds.

MPNP- Skilled Worker Overseas stream

The SWO pathway nominates candidates who show an established connection to Manitoba through:

• the support of family members or friends
• Past education or work experience in the province; or
• an ITA received directly from MPNP as part of a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.

Moreover, to your connection to Manitoba, you need to score minimum 60 points based on 5 factors: language proficiency, age, work experience, education, and adaptability.
