Manitoba conducts Special Immigration Measures draw of MPNP to invite candidates from Ukraine

Manitoba held the Special Immigration Measure draw of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) on 26 June 2023 to invite the candidates from Ukraine. This was the 15th MPNP draw targeting Ukrainian candidates in view of ongoing situation in Ukraine. Manitoba conducts these draws in order to help those affected by ongoing events in Ukraine. 

Manitoba PNP Special Immigration Measure Ukraine Draw

Manitoba has issued total 49 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination to the suitable candidates in this special category draw of MPNP.

Eligibility criteria for selection

In this particular draw, the MPNP has issued Expression of Interest (EOI) to those candidates, who:

• are a citizen of Ukraine;
• have a minimum of CLB 4 in each language band;
• have established connection to Manitoba (close relative, family-like, community, previous employment or studies in Manitoba);
• have a valid language test;
• score at least 60 points according to MPNP assessment criteria; and
• can meet all other requirements of the Skilled Worker Overseas pathway, including adequate settlement funds.

This was third MPNP Draw this month as Manitoba has also conducted two draws in June 2023 for occupation specific and all-occupation category. The Skilled Worker overseas stream of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) is largely popular among the foreign skilled workers looking move to Manitoba, Canada on Permanent Resident (PR) Visa.
