Manitoba PNP Special Immigration Measure Draw- 20 Ukrainians received LAA

Canadian province Manitoba, Canada yet again opened a Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) - Special Immigration Measure Draw on April 11, 2022. In this special draw, the MPNP has issued 20 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination to the candidates from Ukraine. In view of the ongoing crisis in Ukraine, the Government of Manitoba is conducting special MPNP draw to invites the eligible candidates from Ukraine. Find out more.

MPNP Special Immigration Measure Draw

Find out the key details regarding the current draw of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP):

  • Special Immigration Measure – Ukraine Draw #3
  • Special Measure draw date – April 11, 2022
  • Numbers of LAAs (Letters of Advice) to Apply issued: 20

Considering the crisis in Ukraine and per Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) special immigration measures for affected, the MPNP conducting regular Expression of Interest (EOI) draws for people who fulfil all MPNP eligibility requirements and are affected by current happenings in Ukraine.

EOI eligibility criteria

The MPNP only considered the Expressions of Interest (EOIs) if applicant:

  • is a Ukraine national
  • have at least CLB 4 in each language band
  • have established connection to MB (close relative, family-like, community, previous employment or studies in Manitoba)
  • have a valid language test
  • score minimum 60 points according to MPNP assessment criteria

MPNP- Skilled Worker Overseas stream

Manitoba PNP is one of the most active Canadian Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs). Its Skilled Worker overseas stream receive the EOI from Overseas skilled worker applicants, and nominate them, if they show connection to Manitoba via,

  • the support of family members or friends or
  • through previous education or work experience in the province; or
  • Via an Invitation to Apply received directly from the MPNP as part of a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
