The Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) finally opened the February Express Entry draw on 10th February 2021. This EE draw has opened after 19 days of the previous draw. Usually, the Express Entry draws open every fortnight (two weeks).

Hence, the candidates are eagerly waiting for the first Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) category draw of the year. However, this year the number of invitations are still high compare to the Express Entry invitations issued last year until 10 February. Moreover, considering this year's annual EE invitation target of 108,500 IRCC is likely to invite a significant number of invitations in 2021. Consequently, we may see the fall in the qualifying marks for receiving ITA in future all-program Express Entry draws. Meanwhile applying in a PNP is still the wise option if you are waiting for the ITA (Invitation to Apply) for Canadian PR visa since long. A PNP's Express Entry aligned stream helps increase the CRS score by adding 600 additional CRS points to your Express Entry account.
