Apply for PNP if your CRS score is low

Suppose your CRS score in Express Entry system is relatively low compare to the ongoing demand from Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). In that case, you can apply in a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) to increase the same.

The nomination for Canadian PR visa, obtained via a PNP, helps you add 600 additional CRS points to your express entry account. Consequently, you can get the Invitation to Apply (ITA) for the Canadian PR visa from Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Some popular PNPs to apply for Canadian PR visa are as follows:

  • Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP)
  • Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)
