Latest ACT invitation round- Canberra invited 2,087 candidates

Canberra conducted the Latest ACT (Australian Capital Territory) invitation round on April 5, 2023. In this round, the capital city has issued total 2,087 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for the state nomination of two key GSM visa categories, i.e.

•    Skilled Nominated Visa Subclass 190 and
•    Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa Subclass 491

Latest ACT Invitation Round on 5 April

This was the second Canberra Matrix invitation round of this year. Find below the details of this round:

• Small Business Owners: Canberra has issued total 14 ITAs under this category for both invited visa categories.
• 457 / 482 visa holders- Just 8 invitations issued under this category for both invited visa types in this round.
• Critical Skill Occupations– Canberra has issued 508 nomination invites for ACT to Subclass 190 and 491 visa candidates.

• Overseas Applicants (Critical Skill Occupations) – This time around Overseas applicants received the record 1,557 nomination invitations. The ACT invited 15 applicants to apply for the nomination of Subclass 190 visa, while Subclass 491 visa candidates received most, i.e. 1,403 invitations.

2022-2023 Allocation of ACT (Australian Capital Territory) Nomination Places:

The ACT (Australian Capital Territory) received an interim allocation for the 2022-2023 program year.

• Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa: 2,025 places
• Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) visa: 2,025 places

Application Count as on 31 March 2023

Total approvals: 2,327 approvals

• 190 Nominations: 1,043 approvals
• 491 Nominations: 1,283 approvals
