Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has updated its processing times for various immigration applications as of July 3, 2024. This includes citizenship, family sponsorships, economic immigration, business immigration, temporary residency, and permanent resident cards.
The updates are intended to help applicants measure how long it might take to receive a decision on their application. They can also be used by potential applicants to plan ahead before submitting their applications.
It's important to remember that processing times start when IRCC receives a complete application and end when an immigration officer makes a final decision.
