IRCC opens Express Entry Draw for PNP Candidates- Invites 1,548 Candidates

The Immigration department of Canada, i.e. Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) opened latest draw of the federal Express Entry System on October 24, 2023. The IRCC opened this draw for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates only. Find out more about this latest invitation round.

In the EE draw occurred on October 24, 2023, Canada invited 1,548 Express Entry candidates with a CRS score of 776 points or above.

EE Draw Analysis

Following the most recent Express Entry invitation round, the IRCC has now granted a total of 91,321 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for Canadian Permanent Residency visas in the 33 Express Entry draws conducted thus far this year.

Canada has conducted the PNP specific Express Entry draw after almost five months, as the previous draw for PNP, held on 10 May 2023. The CUT OFF is reasonably remains high in the PNP specific draws as all PNP candidates possess the 600 additional point received through provincial nomination. However, the applicants with low CRS need not to worry as the category-based EE draws inviting the candidates with low CRS score as well.

Latest Express Entry update

Starting October 1st, there is no longer a need for an initial medical examination when submitting a PR Visa application through Canada's Express Entry immigration system. Nevertheless, it's essential to recognize that a mandatory immigrant medical examination (IME) administered by an accredited panel physician is still a prerequisite for obtaining permanent residency.
