IRCC opens another Express Entry Draw in less than 48 hours to invite 4,626 candidates

Within less than 48 hours the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has opened yet another program-specific Express Entry draw. This latest EE Draw occurred on January 21, 2021 to invite Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates.

 

It's the fourth Express Entry draw this year and second for the CEC candidates, as the first draw for this category was held on January 7. The invited candidates in this draw already have Canadian experience and now want to apply for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa.

The IRCC dropped the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score requirement to 454 points for this latest CEC category draw. The number of issued invitations are 4,626 in present EE draw.

Since this draw is for CEC candidates, the CRS score requirement is understandably low and the number of invitations are high. Now, IRCC has issued a total of 10,000 invitations this year in four program-specific Express Entry draws.

Canada immigration in 2021

This year, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has a huge immigration target as it plans to admit 401,000 new immigrants in 2021.
