The Express Entry system is a points-based immigration program that manages applications for permanent residency for the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class. Candidates are evaluated based on several factors, such as their age, education, language proficiency, work experience, and other criteria.

With the CRS score cut-off dropping to 484 points, this latest draw has given hope to many candidates who were previously unable to qualify for an ITA. The tie-breaking rule used for this draw was May 19, 2022, at 06:48:41 UTC, which means that candidates who had a CRS score of 484 or above and submitted their profile before this date and time were issued an ITA.

The Canadian government has been increasing the number of ITAs issued in each draw as part of its commitment to welcome more immigrants to the country. Canada has set a target to welcome more than 400,000 immigrants annually, with a focus on economic immigration.

This latest draw is an indication of the Canadian government's commitment to welcoming skilled immigrants to the country and supporting its economic growth. Candidates who have received an ITA now have 60 days to submit their application for permanent residency.
