IRCC opens latest Express Entry Draw for Provincial Nominee Candidates

The Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada opened the latest draw of Express Entry system on 24th June 2020 to invite 392 provincial nominee class candidates.

 

This year, it is the eighth Provincial Nominee Program category draw and 20th express entry draw overall. The candidates who already had the points from provincial nomination received the invitation to apply for Canada PR visa from IRCC.

 

New Express Entry draw for PNP Class

The CRS score requirement in this draw from Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada is high, i.e. 696 points. This rise in cut of is justified when you know that candidates had 600 points already from provincial nomination.

With this latest EE draw, now, IRCC has invited total 46,392 candidates this year in 20 Express Entry draws held this year till date. This is significant number of invitations issued by IRCC, considering the recent disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The candidates are eagerly waiting for the regular FSW (Federal Skilled Worker) category draws. The draw for regular FSW category (excluding Provincial Nominee Program class) are expected to open soon, given the containment measures being eased by the government in a phase wise manner.
