Express Entry all program Draw in August 2020- Will IRCC consider the same this time around?

The Express Entry draw occurred on 8th July was instrumental in the sense that it resumed the all program draws of express entry system. It gave a respite to the candidates registered under Federal Skilled Worker category (without provincial nomination), waiting for the invitation eagerly. The Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) preferred to open the Canadian Experience Class and Provincial Nominee Program class draws since March this year, in view of the global pandemic.

This trend finally broke on 8th July and the IRCC opened an all program draw. However, in the next draw, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) again issued invitations to the PNP and CEC candidates. Hence, the applicants are once again circumspect about the next Express Entry System draw results.

What is the prediction about next express entry draw?

Well, the actions and steps of the IRCC are highly unpredictable. The government assess the on ground situation and accordingly plan the draw invitations for the each EE Draw. This year, the pandemic has also changed the paradigm a lot and planning of the draw results has become even more critical.

The IRCC may prefer a balancing act

As the situation in the maple leaf country is heading towards normalcy, the government is taking steps watchfully towards easing the restrictions imposed earlier for Covid-19. Hence, the government will do a balancing act and likely to mix the draws for all programs as well as the program specific draws (for CEC & PNP) simultaneously.

This will ensure that the IRCC is keeping an eye on both the aspects. It cannot afford to lose skilled and talented immigrants coming from the different part of the globe. Moreover, keeping things under control in view of the global pandemic is also the challenge for the government, hence, consistent all program draws are possible only when everything gets back to normal.

In the meanwhile, the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will keep on doing the balancing act and open the program specific as well as the all program draws (including the regular FSW category in particular).

Hence, there will not be any surprise if we see the all program draw happening once again in the first half of the August 2020.
