 EE Draw Analysis

Post this new category-based draw of EE System, Canada has now issued a total of 1,00,971 Invitations in overall 37 Express Entry draws opened this year. The CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score dropped drastically for this particular draw for the Francophone candidates.

Why French Language proficiency is key for obtaining Canada PR in 2024

If you wish to acquire the Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa in the year 2024, French-language proficiency will be the key. If you are proficient in French, you can get the ITA (Invitation to Apply) for Canadian PR visa in category-based draws, even with relatively low CRS score. Moreover, several Canadian provinces also prefer the candidates with French proficiency.

If you are not proficient, you may learn this language to prepare for the relevant language test. Visas Avenue offers the classroom and online French-language coaching to the interested applicants.

Category-based selections

In May of this year, IRCC declared its intention to conduct Express Entry rounds of invitations based on specific categories. These draws are designed for Express Entry candidates who fulfil the requirements for a particular characteristic, such as proficiency in the French language or having work experience in one of the following 5 occupations:

  • Healthcare
  • STEM professions
  • Trades
  • Transport
  • Agriculture and agri-food
