Canberra invites 338 candidates in the latest ACT Invitation round

In the latest ACT (Australian Capital Territory) invitation round opened on 10 August 2022, Canberra has issued 338 invitations to apply for the state nomination. It was the second Canberra Matrix invitation round of the program year 2022-23. The overseas applicants have received most number of invitations this time around.

Find below the details of the latest ACT invitation round:

• Small Business Owners: Small Business category has received total 5 ITAs this time around for Subclass 190 and Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa Subclass 491. The minimum score was 95 and 75 points respectively for both visa categories.
• 457 / 482 visa holders- Under this category ACT has issued just 4 ITAs for nomination of Subclass 190 visa and 491 visa.
• Critical Skill Occupations– Candidates under Critical Skill Occupation category received 29 invitations for the nomination of Subclass 190 visa. Moreover, 61 ITAs it received for Subclass 491 visa.

• Overseas Applicants (Critical Skill Occupations) – The overseas applicants received 40 ITAs for the nomination of Subclass 190 visa, moreover, 199 ITAs went to Subclass 491 visa candidates. Overseas applicants received most number of ITAs this time around.

Allocation of ACT Nomination Places for program year- 2022-2023

For the 2022-23 program year, the ACT received an interim allocation for the.

• Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa: 800 places
• Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) visa: 1920 places

Total approvals:  195 approvals

• 190 Nominations: 80 approvals
• 491 Nominations: 115 approvals
