Canadian PNPs have issued about 10,000 invitations in First month of 2024

The Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) of Canada has issued whopping 10,000 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for provincial nomination for Canadian Permanent Resident (PR) Visa in the first month of the year, i.e. January 2024. Let’s take a look at the key PNP immigration draws opened in January 2024.

New Manitoba PNP draws in January

Manitoba opened two draws of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) 11 and 25 January 2024 respectively, issuing a total of 698 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination.

  • 25 January- MPNP draw issued 275 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination
  • 11 January- The MPNP draw invited 423 immigration candidates on 11 January.

Ontario PNP Draws in January 2024

Ontario opened the most, i.e. five draws of Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) inviting a total of 8,122 candidates to apply for the provincial nomination.

  • 24 January: Ontario held draws for EJO- Foreign worker, Master and PhD graduate stream to issue 1,481 LAAs
  • 19 January: Ontario held a draw for EJO- Foreign skilled worker stream to invite 1,654 candidates
  • 18 January: Ontario held French-Speaking Skilled worker Stream draw to issue 984 NOIs
  • 11 January: Ontario’s express entry skilled trades stream invites 2,552 candidates
  • 9 January: Ontario held a draw for EJO- Foreign worker stream. In this draw, OINP issued 1,451 NOIs

British Columbia PNP draws in January

British Columbia held three Immigration draws on 10, 16 and 23 January 2024 to invite total 805 candidates to apply for the provincial nomination for Canadian Permanent Resident (PR) Visa.

  • 23 January: British Columbia held ad raw to invite about 220 immigration candidates
  • 16 January: British Columbia issued about 198 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) in latest BC PNP draw
  • 10 January: British Columbia invited nearly 377 candidate in new BC PNP draw

Alberta PNP draws in January 2024

Alberta held three draws of Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) in the month of January.

  • 2- 16 January: Alberta released details of its three draws conducted on 2, 11 and 16 January, invited total 108 candidates to apply for the provincial nomination for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa.

PEI PNP draws in Jan 2024

The Prince Edward Island held an immigration draw for Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) on 18 January 2024.

  • 18 January: Prince Edward Island PNP conducted first draw of 2024 to invite 136 candidates.

Canadian PNPs  in 2024
