Prince Edwards Island PNP Draw
The Prince Edward Island held the pre-announced draw of PEI PNP (Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program) on January 20, 2022 to issue 132 Invitations to Apply (ITA) for provincial nomination. The PEI invited the candidates under Business, Labour and Express Entry streams.
Express Entry invited PNP candidates
In its latest draw of federal Express Entry System opened on January 19, 2022 the IRCC (Immigration Refugees, and Citizenship Canada) issued invitation to apply for Canadian PR (Permanent Residence) visa to 1,036 candidates. It was the program-specific draw for Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates.
BC PNP Tech draw
On January 18, 2022, Canadian province British Columbia held the latest Tech draw of British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) to invite 91 tech professionals to apply for provincial nomination. It was the 2nd Tech draw of British Columbia PNP in 2022 as the first Tech draw took place on 4th January. The BC issued ITAs to Skilled Workers and International graduates in this latest draw.
Alberta released details of first AINP draw of 2022
Alberta, Canada conducted the 1st draw of Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) on 5 January 2022 to invite 250 candidates to apply for provincial nomination. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score requirement reduced to just 327 CRS points by the province of Alberta in this AINP draw.
First Manitoba PNP draw of the year
The first Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) draw of the year 2022 opened on January 13, 2022 to issue 443 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination to Skilled Worker Overseas, Skilled worker in Manitoba and to International Education stream of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).
Alberta’s new Immigration program for Tech workers
Alberta introduced a new immigration program for technology workers under the AINP- Express Entry stream on January 13, 2022. The express entry candidates working in Tech Sector may be eligible this new immigration program under Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). This is an accelerated tech pathway to provide fast Canadian PR (Permanent Residence) visa to the suitable applicants.
