British Columbia has Issued 494 Invitations in two separate BC PNP Draws Opened on February 16, 2021

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) opened two separate draws on February 16, 2021 to invite 494 candidates to apply for provincial nomination. The BC has issued these invitations to apply (ITAs) to qualified registrants in Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC categories. Find below the breakdown of the complete invitation issued in each draw and minimum score requirement.

 

Two BC PNP Draws on 16th February

 

In the first BC PNP draw, British Columbia invited 459 candidates under Skilled Worker and International graduate categories. Minimum score requirement was 98 points and 94 points for SI - Skilled Worker and SI - International Graduate category. Moreover, the point's requirement was 85, 104, and 94 points for SI - Entry Level and Semi-Skilled, EEBC - Skilled Worker and EEBC - International Graduate category respectively.

In the second BC PNP draw held on the same date, i.e. 16th February, British Columbia invited 35 candidates with a points score requirement being 120 points for all categories.

Temporary suspensions on some occupations lifted BC has lifted the temporary suspension on 31 occupations effective February 16, 2021. Hence, BC PNP has resumed issuing invitations to apply (ITA) to these occupations previously excluded from receiving invitations.

 

Moreover, to balance the requirements across all sectors of the labour market, BC PNP has conducted a separate draw for below occupations:

 

  • Retail and Wholesale Trade Managers (NOC 0621) and
  • Restaurant and Food Service Managers (NOC 0631)

High number of applicants registered for both these occupations within the BC PNP Skills Immigration Registration System.
