Alberta Invite 300 Express Entry Candidates in a new AINP Draw

In a latest AINP draw held on March 26, the Canadian province Alberta issued 300 invitations to eligible Express Entry candidates. In this invitation round held by Alberta Immigrants Nominee Program, candidates were invited under Alberta Express Entry streamwith a minimum CRS score requirement of only 301 points.

 

Out of 300 candidates, whoever will get provincial nominations will obtain additional 600 points toward overall CRS score. These additional points will in turn guarantee them to receive an invitation to apply for Canadian PR from the IRCC in upcoming Express Entry draw.

To qualify and obtain a NOI, a candidate:

• Must have an active Express Entry profile
• Must show true intentions and interest in permanently moving to Alberta
• Must score minimum 301 or above
• Must have work experience in an eligible occupation
• Must be working in an occupation that supports economic development and diversification plans of Alberta

As per AINP, following factors help improve the chances of obtaining NOIs:

• Having prior work experience in Alberta
• Post-secondary institution's degree (Canadian)
• A relative, including, parent, sibling or child living in Alberta as a permanent resident or citizen of Canada
