Canberra Matrix invitation round on 31 October- 425 candidates received ITAs

The ACT (Australian Capital Territory) has issued total 354 ITAs in this invitation round. Find below the details of the latest ACT invitation round:

• Small Business Owners: The AC has invited total 17 candidates under this category for both state nominated visas.
• 457 / 482 visa holders- Just one applicant received invitation in this round under this category.
• Critical Skill Occupations– Total 186 candidates received the Invitations under this stream for both visa categories.

• Overseas Applicants (Critical Skill Occupations) – As usual, overseas applicants received most, i.e. 221 invitations in this round for both the visas. Subclass 491 visa received higher, i.e. 214 ITAs. 

For the Canberra matrix round, ACT has a fixed number of nomination places available every month (pro-rata against the yearly allocation). The top ranked candidates in each occupation received ITA for ACT nomination. The cut?off for receiving the invitation depends on the outstanding monthly allocation, the date and time of Matrix submission, occupation cap and demand. The higher the demand for a particular occupation, the greater the rank of the Matrix score invited.
