ACT (Australian Capital Territory) has issued 354 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to apply for the ACT nomination of Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189 and Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa Subclass 491 in the latest Canberra Matrix Invitation round held on 26 September 2022. Find out more.

The ACT (Australian Capital Territory) has issued total 354 ITAs in this invitation round. Find below the details of the latest ACT invitation round:

Small Business Owners: Subclass 491 visa received just 3 invitations with a minimum matrix score of 70 points under this category.
457 / 482 visa holders- 2 invitations issued under this category this time around for Subclass 190 visa.
Critical Skill Occupations– Candidates under Critical Skill Occupation received total 154 invitations this time around for Subclass 190 and Subclass 491 visa.

Overseas Applicants (Critical Skill Occupations) – The Overseas candidates received highest, i.e. 195 invitations. The ACT (Australian Capital Territory) issued 20 invitations for the nomination of Subclass 190 visa; while 175 ITAs went to Subclass 491 visa candidates.

190 Nominations: 146 approvals
491 Nominations: 354 approvals

The ACT is periodically conducting the invitation rounds and inviting the overseas applicants as well to apply for the state nomination.
