Canberra has issued 208 ITAs in latest ACT invitation Round

On September 13, 2022, ACT (Australian Capital Territory) has conducted the latest Canberra Matrix invitation round to issue 208 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for the ACT nomination. In this round, ACT has invited 128 overseas applicants to apply for the nomination for key skilled visa categories, i.e. Subclass 190 visa and Subclass 491 visa. Find out more.

Find below the details of the latest ACT invitation round:

• Small Business Owners: Subclass 190 visa received just 3 invitations with a minimum matrix score of 90 points under this category.
• 457 / 482 visa holders- 5 invitations issued under this category this time around for Subclass 190 visa.
• Critical Skill Occupations– Candidates under Critical Skill Occupation received total 72 invitations for Subclass 190 and Subclass 491 visa.

• Overseas Applicants (Critical Skill Occupations) – The Overseas Applicants received the most, i.e. 128 Invitations to Apply (ITAs). The ACT issued 11 invitations for the nomination of Subclass 190 visa; while, 117 invitations went to Subclass 491 visa candidates.

Total approvals in 2022 until now:  424 approvals

• 190 Nominations: 155 approvals
• 491 Nominations: 269 approvals

The ACT is periodically conducting the invitation rounds and inviting the overseas applicants as well to apply for the state nomination.

Remaining Allocation 2022-2023

Remaining allocations this program year: 2,296 nomination places (227 per month)

• 190 Nominations: 645 (pro rata 67 per month)
• 491 Nominations: 1651 (pro rata 173 per month)
