This year was extraordinary for the aspirants and applicants of Canadian Permanent Residency visa registered in the federal express entry system. If you look back at the whole year, you will find that in most of the months in 2017, express entry draws broke a new record in terms of outstanding draw results.
The draw results were amazing and exceptional this year, in terms of high number of Canada PR invitations issued and lowest ever qualifying marks announced by IRCC. In fact, almost every EE draw in first 8-10 months of the year, created a new record in terms of qualifying marks or number of ITAs (Invitations to Apply) issued by the IRCC (Invitation Refugees and Citizenship Canada). Hence, every aspirant of Canada immigration now asking whether or not the IRCC will continue this positive run next year.
Will IRCC repeat Express Entry positive Run in 2018?
Well, this is the question every immigration applicant has in his/her mind at the moment. Everyone wants to know how IRCC will manage the Canada PR invitations via Express Entry draws. IRCC reduced the qualifying marks to lowest ever mark of 413 CRS points on May 31, 20107. In fact, the trend of low qualifying marks continued throughout the year. As a result, a huge number of skilled workers received ITA for Canada PR in 2017. The IRCC has invited over 85,000 immigrants for Canada PR through express entry system till December 20, 2017 express entry draw. This certainly is a staggering data enough to boggle the minds of Canada immigration aspirants planning to apply Canada PR visa in 2018.
Express Entry Draw results in 2018
This positive run of 2017 is expected to continue in 2018 as well. The IRCC released its multiyear immigration plan 2018-2020 last month, which announced to invite about one million new immigrants in Canada next year as permanent residents. For the New Year 2018, Canada has got massive immigration target, i.e. 310,000. Hence, to meet such huge immigration target, it’s quite likely that the government reduce its qualifying marks to invite more and more skilled workers in the maple leaf country.
Hence, the first few EE draws of 2018, like in year 2017, expected to be massive in favour of the applicants, i.e. we may see high number of invites and reduced qualifying marks by IRCC.

I am extremely excited and happy to say that my PR for Canada was approved on Aug 29 which was almost 45 days from the day of AOR. I would like to thank Visa s Avenue for all the support and promptness in helping me in the documentation process with frequent follow up and reminders. Most importantly, their guidance across each stage of the application really kept our hopes alive and was very motivating throughout the process. My case officer Ms. Kanika was really exceptional in her work and provided us with regular feedback and suggestions to improve my EE profile due to which I could meet the CRS and ITA eligibility. I also would like to appreciate her knowledge and confidence about the entire procedure. Thanks once again VISAS S AVENUE. Keep serving your customers with the same zeal.
I had applied for Canada under the FSWP in April. Its just the beginning of September and I have just booked my tickets to Toronto already. A massive thanks to the entire team of Visas Avenue, both Bangalore and New Delhi. Pranshu Chawalia was my case manager and knows exactly what the requirements are to file applications. His follow ups are quick and prompt and his responses are fast, very precise, clear and to the point. Very very professional and extremely quick. Definitely had my reservations in the initial stage (hard earned money of course) But the professionalism of Manu prabhakar in Blore and Pranshu in Delhi had me believing at all times and now its a reality. Thanks guys!
Good Support & Guidance. My case was with Mr.Sahil Vij and Mr.Yatin Malhotra. Both are very professional and patient. They always maintain transparent communication with their clients. Glad to choose Visas Avenue as my immigration consultant. Got my PR in very less time.
I would like to share my feedback on the services provided by the Visa avenue for the successful completion of my file and arrival of my PR visa. I would specially like to express my gratitude to Ms Ankita Jain who was my first point of contact with the company and motivated me to go ahead with the process when i was skeptical of the idea. I would also like to thank my case manager Mr Vijay Singh who worked on my profile and kept me updated. Thankyou so much team!
Well, I will not write generic review. I started planning to apply for PR around Dec 2016. I was not sure whether to apply for Australia or Canada. I met few consultants in this regard. Out of those, my experience with Visas Avenue was the best. On very first meeting they explained me complete process of PR for different countries. They also told me about pros and cons of different countries. In the end I decided to apply PR for Australia. My Relationship Manager from Visas Avenue was Shivangi Arora. I was impressed with her knowledge about immigration processes. She drew my road map for application. Right from reference letters to, EOI, to visa filing etc. Shivangi always took initiative from her side. She had answers to all my questions.Even on those frustrating days, when I saw other s visa approval and mine under process, she was able to satisfy my doubts and also never gave me fake timelines. Special thanks to you Shivangi . In September 17, I have got PR for myself and my family. I am really glad that I took services from Visas Avenue. Highly Recommended !!! Thank You. Please see my application was filed in April 17 itself, but there was delay from Australia s immigration department. Any delay on their part is not in anyone s hand. In this case neither individual nor consultant can help. Patience is key. So have patience and you will succeed. Good Luck!
I had a wonderful experience with Team Visas Avenue. My case was well handled by an enthusiastic team !! Mrigya Shah and Shivangi Arora were helpful and always available to sort out the queries!! Thank you guys for a hassle free journey! Wish you all the very best for future!!
I would like to thank Visas Avenue for their outstanding service in getting my Australian PR. They are extremely professional and have strong business ethics. Both Ashwani and Shivangi were very helpful from the time I first contacted them to inquire until the time that I received my PR, although I never met them in person. They made me feel so confident and reassured about everything, and they kept me posted with any updates coming from DIBP. Shivangi was exceptionally supportive and patient with my queries even at the odd hours sometimes. She explained all the process thoroughly and guided me at each step. I believe I got the PR so quickly because of her hard work and efforts. I will for sure recommend people to go to Visas Avenue and will continue to do so in the future as well. Thank you once again !
