SINP Occupation List 2022

The province of Saskatchewan, Canada has expanded the SINP in Demand Occupation list on September 16, 2019. Now, all occupations in NOC (National Occupational Classification) Matrix levels are eligible for the OID and EE program sub-categories of SINP, except the Occupations listed in the SINP Excluded Occupation List.

SINP- Express Entry Subcategory

This sub-category is for the applicants who already have their profile registered in Express Entry System and who meet the basic criteria of the SINP-EE Subcategory.

Hence, to apply in Express Entry subcategory of SINP, you first need to have a profile registered in Express Entry System. You also need to select the option Interested in Immigration to Saskatchewan or ‘All Provinces and Territories’ while creating a profile in express entry system.

Eligibility Requirement for SINP-Express Entry subcategory & Occupation in Demand subcategory:

To be eligible to apply in SINP- Express Entry sub-category, an applicant:

• Require scoring at least 60 points out of 110 on the SINP point assessment grid
• Must have evidence of legal status, if presently residing in Canada;
• Need to have an Express Entry Profile Number and Job Seeker Validation Code (for express entry stream applicants)
• Need to provide language test results from an authorized testing agency in accordance with the language level declared in the Express Entry profile, i.e. minimum CLB 7 (for occupation in-demand category -minimum CLB 4)
• Must have completed minimum 1 year of post-secondary education or training equivalent to the Canadian education system, and must have resulted in a degree, diploma, or certificate;
• Require having a minimum level of work experience in an occupation not listed in Saskatchewan Excluded Occupation List. The minimum requirement for work experience is:
  • 1-year work experience in the past 10 years in skilled professionals (non-trades);
  • 2 years’ work experience in a skilled trade in the past five years; or
  • 12 months of work experience in Canada in the past three years (skilled tradespeople and skilled professionals).

• The mentioned work experience needs to be in the area of your completed post-secondary education or training.
• Your work experience needs to be related to your job and education.
• Check SINP Requirements Related to Professional Status or Licensure to see if your job require particular SINP education requirements.
• You may require showing a Professional Status or evidence of eligibility for Licensure for your job.
• Check Occupations In-Demand and Express Entry Occupation Requirements for these requirements. If you are asked to demonstrate this, your application will be held. You do not need to show licensure documents unless asked.
• You need to include all documents in your application. If your application will be closed in case there is, missing documents and your application fee will not be returned.
• Need to have evidence of sufficient settlement funds along with a settlement plan

SINP Rule changes 2022

• The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) has launched a new International Healthcare Worker Expression of Interest (EOI) Pool. This pool will help link healthcare workers with job opportunities being offered by Saskatchewan healthcare sector employers.

SINP Documents Requirement

Here are key documents to apply SINP Express entry and OID sub-category:

• IELTS Test result for English language proficiency or an approved French language proficiency test.
• ECA (Educational Credential Assessment) from WES or any other relevant assessing authority, i.e. ICAS, IQAS, etc.
• Other basic documents required by the relevant SINP- Express entry or OID Sub-category.

Saskatchewan PNP Processing Time

The SINP processing time is measured in a week and it is updated every 3 months to have the latest status of SINP application processing time. To confirm the latest status of the processing time, you may contact the Visas Avenue immigration expert on below given details.

The SINP aims to process all ISW and Saskatchewan Experience applications within 16 weeks. To process an application at SINP, an applicant needs to provide all information and supporting documents.
