The Canadian government uses this system to evaluate the skilled foreign worker, applying for Permanent Residence (PR) visa in Canada through the federal Express Entry System.
Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is a ranking system used by Canada’s Express Entry Immigration system to rank the candidates in the Express Entry pool. The applicants get the ranking as per the CRS Points calculation based on six selection factors of their profile, i.e. age, language proficiency (English/French), work experience, adaptability, educational qualifications and arranged employment.
Each profile gets the point score or ranking. Based on this Score, the IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) issue Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canada PR Visa to the candidates.
