The UK Released New Fees Structure for Study Visa w.e.f April 6, 2022

The fees have been updated for applications made outside the UK and for applications made within the UK. There has been a hike of 14 to 15 euros in the fees for the principal applicant and dependants, child student, and short term student categories.

About UK Student Visa

If you plan to pursue a long-term study program in the United Kingdom, you must apply for UK student visa, i.e., Tier 4 (General) student visa.

To qualify, you must:

• age 16 years or over
• have a letter to pursue a course from a licensed student sponsor
• have enough funds to support yourself and pay for your tuition fee
• be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• have your parents' consent (if 16 or 17 years old)

Once you get a student visa in the UK to study at a degree level and 18 years or above, you can stay for up to 5 years. While, if your course is below degree level, you can stay for up to 2 years in the UK.
