South Australia Skilled Migration Update- SA Adds 70 extra Occupations for offshore applicants

The government of South Australia is opening70 additional occupations from 28 September 2021, to the candidates presently residing outside Australia. This is happening as part of South Australia’s Covid recovery response. The SA every year nominate the skilled and talented people from overseas for the popular skilled visas, i.e. Subclass 190 and Subclass 491 visa.

New Occupations for offshore applicants

The SA is adding these occupations to manage its COVID recovery response. To get state nomination for the skilled visa, prospective candidates must fulfil the requirements of the Department of Home Affairs (DHA), state-specific occupation requirements, and require having skills in an occupation that is listing in SA’s Skilled Occupation List. South Australia State nomination requirements

The state nomination requirements differ based on the visa you are applying for, as well as your explicit circumstances. The Skilled Migrants looking for a state nomination for a subclass 491 or 190 visa shall must:

1. CheckSouth Australia’s Skilled Occupation List to make certain your occupation is available for state nomination and you fulfil the specific requirements for your occupation. 

1. Check all requirements linked with your chosen visa pathway, i.e.

1. • Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190)

• Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491)
   

1. Check any supporting information that you may need to consider prior to applying. 

 Arrange all required documentation needed for your application. 

1. If applying for Talent & Innovators program, you will need to submit an EOI application to Skilled & Business Migration.

The foreign candidates, meeting the minimum requirements can submit a ROI (Registration of Interest) from September 28, 2021.
