SA Skilled & Business Migration program update regarding closure & Reopening

Australian state South Australia has started the closing process for the nomination applications and Registrations of Interest (ROIs) for the program year 2021-22. However, the General Skilled Migration Program (GSM) is still open and will close by 23 June 2022. The Migration Program year of Australia starts on 1st July and closes by 30th June every year.

The new migration program year 2022—2023 is likely to start from 1st July 2022.

Program Closure dates for 2021-2022

The upcoming program closure dates are: 

• Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP) – Business Innovation Stream (Subclass 188A) applications will close at 4pm, ACST, Thursday 9 June 2022 
• General Skilled Migration (GSM) Offshore Registration of Interests (ROIs) will close at 4pm, ACST, Thursday 9 June 2022  
• General Skilled Migration (GSM) Talent and Innovators Program ROIs will close at 4pm, ACST, Thursday 9 June 2022 
• Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP) applications for the following streams will close at 4pm, ACST, Monday 20 June 2022 
  • Investor Stream (Subclass 188B) 
  • Significant Investor Stream (Subclass 188C)
  • Entrepreneur Stream (Subclass 188E) 
• General Skilled Migration (GSM) applications will close at 4pm, ACST, Thursday 23 June 2022

The application sent by the applicants before the closure dates will be evaluated by 30 June 2022. 

The Department of Home Affairs (DHA), Australia will soon announce the precise details and information regarding the reopening of Skilled & Business Migration programs 2022-23 program year.
