PTE is Revising the Academic Test Fee from January 4, 2022 

The PTE (Pearson Test of English) to revise the PTE Academic test fee with effect from 4 January 2022. Now, all new PE Academic Test Bookings in India will be done at the new price of Rs.14, 700 w.e.f. 4 January. The revised charge for PTE Home would be Rs.12, 400. However, you can still register for PTE Academic at the current price of Rs.13, 700 if you register before 4 January 2022. 

Pearson Test of English (PTE) 

The PTE or Pearson Test of English is the English test undertaken by students and candidates who wish to move abroad to enroll in study program or immigrate to a key English-speaking country, i.e. Canada, Australia, etc. Students need to take the PTE test to prove their English language proficiency. 

In 2021, PTE updated to a new 2-hour format for the more efficient and convenient testing through an innovative approach. As a result, PTE decided to revise the testing fee.

PTE Academic Online  

Recently, PTE also announced the opening of PTE Academic Online for bookings with tests starting from January 11, 2022.
