Ontario PNP includes Masters Graduate & PhD Graduate Streams in its EOI (Expression of Interest) System

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has included Masters Graduate & PhD Graduate Streams in its Expression of Interest (EOI) System. Hence, now the graduate with an employment offers in the province can now register for an opportunity to get a provincial nomination via two more immigration programs.

Two New Streams Included in EOI (Expression of Interest) System

Three key streams of Ontario PNP are already using the EOI system, now the province has included rest two streams as well in this system. Now, after the addition of two new streams, find out the list of all five streams currently using EOI system:

• Employer Job Offer:  Foreign Worker stream
• Employer Job Offer:  International Student stream
• Employer Job Offer:  In-Demand Skills stream
• Masters Graduate stream
• PhD Graduate stream

The last two highlighted streams are the latest addition to the EOI system of Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).

What is EOI system of OINP?

The OINP uses an EOI system to manage its applications for the key immigration streams (mentioned above).Before you can apply to these streams, you need to register an expression of interest to allow the Ontario PNP to know you want to be invited to apply. You can only apply to above immigration streams of OINP, if you are invited. Registering an EOI is not the same as applying to the OINP or applying for Canadian PR visa.

Registration of your profile in the EOI system, allows the Ontario PNP to collect essential information about you in order to rank your profile and choose those who are most likely to fulfil Ontario’s economic and labour market requirements, based on one or more of the attributes mentioned below:

• education – level and field of education and where completed
• language – English or French
• regional immigration – intention to settle outside of the Greater Toronto Area
• skill and work experience level
• earnings history
• other factors relevant to employment prospects – job offer in Ontario, Canadian work experience
• strategic priorities – attributes that would address immediate labour market needs in Ontario or a region of Ontario

• Human Capital Priorities stream
• French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream
• Skilled Trades stream
• Entrepreneur stream
