October SkillSelect Invitation Round Results- Australia Invites 400 Candidates

The Department of Home Affairs (DHA), Australia has released the latest SkillSelect invitation round results after a gap of two months. The DHA has now released the details of its October 2021 SkillSelect invitation round, wherein it has issued 400 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for Subclass 189 and Subclass 491 visa. October 2021 Invitation round

Australia held invitation round on 29 October 2021 and invited 200 candidates to apply for Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189 with a minimum point score of 90 points. Besides, the DHA has also issued 200 ITAs to Subclass 491 visa candidates with a minimum score of 80 points this time around.

This is only second invitation round this year. Usually, Department of Home Affairs (DHA), Australia conduct the invitation rounds every month, however, the recent global pandemic caused some temporary changes in the Australia’s regular immigration programs and procedures.

Dates of effect cut off & Point scores for the pro rata occupations in the 29 October invitation round

The below occupation groups will be subject to pro rata arrangements considering the huge demand. This is to make certain the availability of invitations across the program year.

SkillSelect Invitations this year

In this program year, Australia has conducted two SkillSelect invitation round so far, in the month of July and October. Consequently, 1,150 candidates have received invitation to apply for Subclass 189 and Subclass 491 visa this year. The program year of Australia starts on 1st July every year.
