Nova Scotia opened the first NSNP Draw of the year on January 19 2021

In the first draw of Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP), Canada's Nova Scotia province has invited the candidates to apply for provincial nomination. The latest draw of Nova Scotia- Labour Market Priorities Stream took place on January 19, 2021.

 

Nova Scotia targeted financial officer (NOC 1114) in this latest Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) draw. Let us find out more details.

 

Nova Scotia PNP Draw on January 19

 

The Nova Scotia Labour Market Priorities stream choose the candidates from Express Entry pool, who fulfil provincial labour market requirements to apply for nomination. The applicants, who get an LOI (Letter of Interest) from the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration, can apply.

Criteria for latest NSNP Draw for Other Financial Officers

 

To get the invitation, the applicants need to:

 

  • Have a primary occupation of NOC 1114 (other Financial Officers)
  • Provide letters of reference from employers, as defined in the application guide, to show that they have four or more years of experience in NOC 1114.
  • Have a CLB score of 9 or higher in English in all four language abilities (provide IRCC approved language test to show the same)
  • Hold a bachelor's degree OR have completed a program of 3 or more years at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institutes. (provide Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report from an approved assessing authority, i.e. WES, ICAS, IQAS, etc. report as an education proof)
  • Apply no later than 11:59 p.m., February 18, 2021.

Who can apply in this stream?

 

To apply, you need to:

 

  • Get an LOI from the NSNP in your Express Entry account
  • submit your application within 30 calendar days from the date on which you received Letter of Interest (LOI)
  • Fulfil the minimum work experience requirements of the Express Entry stream for which you have qualified;
  • show enough funds to successfully set up yourself and your family in the province of Nova Scotia and to pay your immigration costs and travel expenses;
  • have legal status in your present country of residence;
  • meet eligibility criteria in place at the time you are issued a Letter of Interest; and
  • Have a valid Express Entry number and fulfil all requirements of the Express Entry pool.
