May 2021 Express Entry Draw- Will IRCC get back to All-program Draws any time soon?

The Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has invited massive, i.e. 61,771 Express Entry candidates in just first four months of 2021. It opened 15 Express Entry draws this year until April month, however, all these draws were program-specific draws. The IRCC conducted 7 Canadian Experience Class (CEC) category draws and 8 draws targeting the provincial nominee class candidates.Hence, thousands of candidates are eagerly waiting for the first all-program draw, inviting Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) candidates in particular. So what are the chances of all-program draws happening this month or months to come?

Possibilities of All-program EE draw The consistent inclusion of candidates with provincial nomination along with IRCC's focus on CEC, looking at the current scenario has played a key role in the delay of all-program draw this year. However, as we are heading towards the completion of the first half of this year, the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) may consider restoring the FSW category EE draws now. Express Entry Draws in 2021 EE Draw pool status If we look at the Express Entry pool status as on April 26, 2021, there were 1,907 candidates in the pool with CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) Score,501 points or above. For the last few Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws, the IRCC is inviting around 300 candidates(in every PNP draw) on an average. If this happens, the FSW candidates may have to wait at least for this month for seeing the draw targeting them.Despite these observations, it is usually not safe to predict anything about the EE draw results, as only IRCC can tell what is going to happen in next Express Entry draw and no one else can say anything about the results with great authority and precision. CRS Score Requirement in 2021 What is the available option now for FSW Candidates? Well, if you do not want to play the waiting things, and really determined to make things happen, applying to a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) will be a good option. The Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) of Canada nominate the candidates for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa, consequently, it add 600 CRS points to your Express Entry account and raise your CRS score.By successfully obtaining the provincial nomination, you too can get the ITA in one of upcoming draws targeting PNP candidates.
