Manitoba Conducted Separate draw for Skilled Worker Overseas Stream- Invited record 558 Candidates

Manitoba, Canada conducted a separate draw for Skilled Worker Overseas stream of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) on 27 April 2023. In this special MPNP Immigration Draw, Manitoba has issued 558 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination to overseas skilled worker applicants. Find out more.

Manitoba draw for Skilled Worker Overseas Stream

Manitoba has issued 558 LAAs in this special draw to the overseas skilled worker applicants with a ranking score of 616 points or above. Of the 558 invited candidates in this draw, 344 were the ones who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.

MPNP- Skilled Worker Overseas stream

To for this particular stream, you must show an established connection to Manitoba through either

• the support of family members or friends (Manitoba Support),
• past education or work experience in the province  
• The ITAs received directly from the MPNP as part of a Strategic Recruitment Initiative (Manitoba Invitation).

Key points to remember

1. If your score is greater than that of the lowest-ranked candidate however you have not received a LAA, this could be because:
   • you have showed that you have taken an approved third-party language test to show your language ability in English/French, but have not provided a valid Test Number in your EOI or your language test is no more valid; or
   • you have showed that you have got an ITA to the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative, however did not provide a valid Invitation Number.
   • For each question in the EOI, help text is available, providing comprehensive information on the information you should enter. If one of these conditions applies to you, you may wish to update your EOI with the right information in order to be considered for the next draw from the EOI pool.
2. Applicants who showed they are working in a regulated occupation and are completely licensed to work in the province of Manitoba have been selected in this draw. However, the Manitoba PNP may not accept or may reject full applications from those applicants who are not truly working in a regulated occupation and/or fail to provide evidence of having undergone all essential licensing steps to be employed in Manitoba.
