Latest update on South Australia Business & Investment Program 2021-22

South Australia has released the latest update regarding its Business & Investment Program 2021-22.The state has removed two key steps from the application process used in the previous 2020-21 program year.

The new changes includes, the removal of the exploratory visit to South Australia and also the elimination of the requirement to submit an ‘Intention to Apply’ (ITA) form for the 2021-22 program year.Let us find out more details.

South Australia Business & Investment Program 2021-22

The South Australia will evaluate the state nomination applications for Subclass 188 visa products in four quarterly periods during the 2021-22 program year to help manage the allocation quotas (i.e. quotas provided by the Commonwealth Department of Home Affairs)for the entire program year.These suggestiveassessment dates are as follows:

• Round 1 Assessments: 2 August 2021 – 24 September 2021
• Round 2 Assessments: 25 October 2021 – 17 December 2021
• Round 3 Assessments: 31 January 2022 – 25 March 2022
• Round 4 Assessments: 2 May 2022 – 24 June 2022

The volumes of the application may affect the assessment timelines and the same will be communicated accordingly during the program year as each assessment round is completed.

When will the applications for subclass 188 will open?

The applications for state nomination for the Subclass 188 visa- Business Innovation, Investor & Significant Investor streams will open from20th July 2021.The application access for the Subclass 188 Entrepreneur stream will follow in August 2021 and SA will provide the further announcement regarding the same very soon.
