Latest ACT Invitation Round Opens on 18 August- Canberra Issues 82 Invitations

On August 18, 2021, Canberra opened its latest ACT (Australian Capital Territory) invitation round to issue 82 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for Skilled Nominated Visa Subclass 190 and Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa Subclass 491.

As per the most recent trend, the ACT invited candidates under key categories, i.e. Small Business Owners, 457/482 visa holders, and CriticalSkills Occupations. Find out more.

Small business owners-Under this category, ACT has issued only one invitation this time around for Subclass 491 visa.

457 / 482 visa holders- Canberra has issued 12 invitations to Subclass 190 visa under this category, while 1 invitation it sent to Subclass 491 visa.

Critical Skill Occupations- the Critical Skills Occupation category has been supremely active in last few months. Under this category, in 18August round, Canberra has issued 26 invitations to Subclass 190 visa candidates (point score 90), while for Subclass 491 visa, ACT issued 42 invitations with a minimum matrix score of 65 points (accountants: 95 submitted before July).

The next invitation round is likely to occurred before 26 August 2021.
