Canberra Matrix Invitation Round on 5 October- ACT invites 79 candidates

In the latest ACT (Australian Capital Territory) invitation round took place on October 5, 2021, Canberra, Australia has issued 79 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) to apply for key visa categories, i.e. Skilled Nominated Visa Subclass 190 and Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa Subclass 491. This is the first invitation round of ACT this month. Canberra conducted 4 invitation rounds in September month.

Small business owners- Canberra has not issued any invitation this time around to the Small business owners.
457 / 482 visa holders- In this invitation round, 457/482 visa holders received 2 invitations only.

Critical Skill Occupations- The applicants with experience in Critical Skills Occupations received the most, i.e. 77 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) this time around. The ACT issued 17 invitation to Subclass 190 visa with a minimum matrix score 95 (accountant: NIL) points, while for Subclass 491 visa, Canberra invited 60 candidates with a minimum matrix score of 65 points (accountants: 100).

The General Skilled Migration Program (GSM) of Australia is the most organized and popular skilled immigration program of Australia. The GSM has three main visa categories, i.e.

  • Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189
  • Skilled Nominated Visa Subclass 190
  • Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa Subclass 491
