Express Entry invited record 108,935 Candidates- Inviting Highest Number of Candidates in 2021

Launched by Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) in 2015, this year, the IRCC has broken all past records for highest number of invitations in a year. The 2021 invitation target was 108,500, which the federal EE system has already surpassed and invited record 108,935 candidates to apply for Canadian Permanent Resident (PR) visa this year. Now, all eyes are on IRCC has to what will it bring in the upcoming EE draws of this year.

How many ITAs the IRCC will issue this year

As IRCC has already achieved this year’s target, and now, the experts are busy in the speculations as to how many invitations it will issue this year. The EE invitations, i.e. 110,000 are very much on the cards, considering IRCC has already invited 108,935 candidates this year to apply for Canadian Permanent Resident (PR) visa.

In next three years, IRCC, has plan to invite more than one million permanent residents and most of them will be under economic immigration programs, i.e. federal Express Entry System and Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), etc. Canada needs skilled worker to fulfil the skill shortage in the country and immigrants are the key contributors to the Canadian economy as well.
