Canadian PNP draws opened this week- 14-03-2023

First quarter of the year has been significant in terms of Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws opened consistently and number of invitations issued to the immigration candidates inviting them to apply for the provincial nomination. In 2023, the PNPs will admit 105,500 new permanent resident and considering the same, the start is commendable in the first quarter itself. Let’s take a look at the PNP draws opened in last 1-2 weeks.

Ontario HCP stream draw on 10 March for Tech Occupations

On March 10, 2023, Ontario, Canada held second targeted draw for the Express Entry- OINP- Human Capital Priorities (HCP) Stream in just two days. In this invitation round, the Ontario issued 815 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to apply for provincial nomination to the candidates with CRS score 479-489 and work experience in the targeted IT occupations.

Ontario HCP stream draw on 8-9 March for Health Occupations

Ontario opened a targeted draw for OINP- Human Capital Priorities (HCP) Stream on 8-9 March 2023 to issue 822 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to the candidates with experience in Health Occupations. In this draw, the OINP invited candidates with work experience in a few targeted health occupations with a CRS score of 469-489 points.

Manitoba Occupation-Specific and regular draw on 9 March

On 9 March 2023, Manitoba, Canada, once again opened the Occupation- specific and all-occupation draws of Manitoba PNP. The province has issued total 597 Letters of Advice to apply for provincial nomination in both type of draws. The occupation-based draw was for Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, while regular draw was for all the occupations.

British Columbia- General and targeted draws- 7 March

The British Columbia PNP opened the general and targeted draws of British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) on same date, i.e. 7 March 2023. In this invitation round the BC PNP invited the candidates for its key Skilled worker and International gradate streams.

SINP- Entrepreneur category EOI Draw

Saskatchewan held the EOI based draw for its Entrepreneur Immigration category on 2 March 2023. In this specific draw of Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), the province invited 54 candidates registered under Entrepreneur category.

PEI PNP draw for Labor and Express entry stream

Prince Edward Island invited 46 candidates in latest PEI PNP draw opened on 2 March 2023. In this invitation round, the PEI PNP invited candidates registered for Labour and Express Entry stream of Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP).
