Canada PNP News this Week- 16-10-2021

The Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) of Canada operation in collaboration with the federal government and invite assess and nominate a significant number of foreign workers for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR). British Columbia PNP Draws on 12 October 

Following the recent BC PNP trend, British Columbia once again held two draws of British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) yet again on same date, i.e. October 12, 2021 to issue 409 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) to apply for provincial nomination for Canadian PR visa. The BC held one regular draw and one specifically for two key occupations, i.e. NOC 0621 and 0631.

Manitoba PNP draw on 7 October

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) conducted its latest draw on October 7, 2021 to issue 426 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination. The province of Manitoba revealed the details of this MPNP draw almost after a week of its occurrence. Manitoba issued 350 invitations to the Skilled Worker overseas stream with a minimum score requirement of 446 points, while for the international Education stream, Manitoba issued 55 LAAs.

Alberta released results of latest AINP draw

Alberta released the details of latest Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) - Express Entry stream draw conducted on 30 September 2021. In this AINP draw, Alberta issued 275 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to apply for provincial nomination. The CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score requirement was relatively low, i.e. just 300 points this time around as well.

Nova Scotia PNP Draw for Labour Market Priorities stream

Nova Scotia province of Canada held two latest draws for NSNP (Nova Scotia Nominee Program) - Labour Market Priorities stream on October 7, 2021. The province opened these draws after a gap of several months. The first NSNP draw was a job offer draw, while the second draw it opened for the candidates with the occupation of carpenter (NOC 7271).

Ontario PNP -French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream draw

Ontario opened OINP (Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program) draw on October 7, 2021 to invite 162 candidates under the French-speaking Skilled Worker stream. The province targeted the Express Entry candidates with French Speaking skills in this latest draw. Ontario also held the OINP draw for Express Entry- HCP (Human Capital Priorities) stream of Ontario PNP stream on 6th October. Now Ontario has invited total 651 candidates under this stream in 2021.

Ontario Express Entry- Human Capital Priorities Stream Draw

Ontario held latest draw of Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) ON 6 October 2021 to issue 486 NOIs (Notifications of Interest) to apply for provincial nomination. In this latest invitation round, Ontario invited the Express Entry candidates under Ontario PNP- Human Capital Priorities (HCP) Stream, targeting certain key occupations.
