Business & Investment Program of Victoria to open in January 2021 with Changes in Nomination Criteria

The full business and investor visa nomination program of Victoria, Australia to re-open at 10 am AEDT on Monday, 4 January 2021 for the program year 2020-21. The program includes key business visa streams, i.e. subclass 188A, 188B, and 188E streams and subclass 132A and 132B streams. The candidates of Significant Investor (subclass 188C) visa nomination has already opened on 30 November.

 

Victoria received the allocation of visa nomination places

The Department of Home Affairs, Australia has allocated another 1,350 visa nomination places (apart from the 400 places allocated as part of the interim program) to the Victoria Government. Now, the total number of places for the Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP) is 1,750 for the program year 2020-21.

Key Changes to nomination criteria

The Business Innovation & Investment Program (BIIP) to open again on 4 January 2021 with some key changes to the state nomination criteria.
