The Australian Community Workers Association (ACWA) has revised its processing time for Skill Assessment. The ACWA is a reputed entity that supports community workers in Australia, in every domain of their work.
It is the well-known skills-assessing authority for community services professionals, who wish to immigrate to Australia to work for some key occupations listed on the MLTSSL (Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List) and STSOL (Short-term Skilled Occupation List).

In view of the global pandemic issue, the ACWA has announced to update its processing time. Find below the update processing time for the ACWA Skill assessment.
General Application processing time
As per the latest update, it assess the 75 per cent of applications within 12 weeks. However, the processing time may increase, if additional information is required or if there is an issue in verifying documents.
After sending the application, applicant get an acknowledgement e-mail within five business days. This e-mail will comprise your ACWA file reference number. However, no progress updates are shared with the applicants.
Fast-tracking assessments
The Fast-tracking is available on a case-by-case basis. For this type of processing a fee of $165 (incl. GST) if payable (if paying within Australia) or $150 if paying from outside Australia. A finalized application processing through fast-tracked process can take up to 6 weeks.
