The Department of Home Affairs, Australia has revealed the details of its State & Territory wise nomination allocations for the program year 2020-21. For the Migration Program 2020-21, nomination allocations have been made available to States and Territories in the below visa categories:
Australian States and Territories evaluate the eligible candidates against a criterion distinctive to their jurisdiction.
State-wise Nomination allocation
The federal government of Australia has allocated the highest number of nomination places for the Subclass Skilled Nominated Visa Subclass 190, i.e. 11,852 nominations (including nomination allocation to all state/territories of Australia). The DHA allocated total 9,781 nominations for Subclass 491 visa, while 6,660 nominations allocated for the Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP).

The state of New South Wales (NSW), Australia received the highest number of nominations for all three categories, i.e. Subclass 190 visa (3,550), Subclass 491 Visa (2,800) and the Business Innovation and Investment Program (2,200) followed by the state of Victoria and South Australia.
