New ACT Invitation Round- Canberra Invites 78 candidates for ACT Nomination

The new ACT (Australian Capital Territory) invitation round held on May 25, 2022 to issue 78 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for ACT nomination this time around. Canberra has issued nomination invitations to the candidates registered for Skilled Nominated Visa Subclass 190 and Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa Subclass 491. Find out more.

Find below the details of the latest ACT invitation round:

Small Business Owners: The Small Business Owners category received just one invitation for Subclass 190 visa with a minimum matrix score of 100 points, while 2 ITAs issued to Subclass 491 visa, with points requirement of 85 points.
457 / 482 visa holders- Under this category ACT has issued just one invitation for Subclass 491 visa.
Critical Skill Occupations – Critical Skills Occupations received most, i.e. 47 ITAs for Subclass 190 and 491 visa.

Overseas Applicants (Critical Skill Occupations) – This time around Overseas applicants received 27 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for the nomination of Subclass 491 Visa.

Overall, Canberra has issued 78 ITAs in 25th may Canberra matrix Invitation round.

ACT (Australian Capital Territory) Invitations

For every month, ACT has a fixed number of nomination places available (pro-rata against the annual allocation). The top ranked Matrix in each occupation get ITA for ACT nomination. The cut?off for selection depends on left over monthly allocation, Matrix submission date and time, demand and cap of occupation. Higher the demand for an occupation, the greater the rank of the Matrix score invited
