Canberra matrix Invitation round on 8 March- 79 Candidates received ITA

The ACT (Australian Capital Territory) has held the latest invitation round today, i.e. 8 March 2022 to issue 79 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for State nomination for key visa categories, i.e. Skilled Nominated Visa Subclass 190 and Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa Subclass 491. The Australian Capital Territory has a fixed number of nomination places for every month (pro-rata against the per year allocation).  The highest ranked Matrix get the ITA for ACT nomination.

Find below the details of the latest ACT invitation round:

• Small Business Owners- For small business owners two invitations issued in this round (1 ITA each for Subclass 190 and 491 visa).
• 457 / 482 visa holders- The visa holders under this category received just 1 invitation this time around for Subclass 190 visa.
• Critical Skill Occupations – Canberra issued total 37 invitations under this category.

• Overseas Applicants (Critical Skill Occupations) – The applicants under this category as usual received most number of ITAs (Invitations to Apply), i.e. 39 this time around as well.

In this round, Canberra invited total 79 candidates to apply for state nomination for Subclass 190/491 visa.

The cut?off for selection based on the left over monthly allocation, the date and time of Matrix submission, occupation cap and current demand. Greater the demand for an occupation, the higher the rank of the invited Matrix score.
