Canberra, Australia invites 94 candidates in the latest ACT Invitation Round

Canberra- Australia's capital city, invites 94 candidates to apply for a visa in the latest ACT (Australian Capital Territory) Invitation round. Given the global pandemic, Canberra is mainly issuing invitations to Critical Skills Occupations. It is the first invitation round of ACT this month and the fifth round overall this year.

 

Latest ACT invitation round

 

In this Canberra Matrix invitation round, Canberra has invited 32 candidates to apply for Skilled Nominated Visa Subclass 190, and 61 invites went to Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Subclass 491 visa candidates. The ACT has issued all these invitations to Critical Skills Occupations.

Apart from this, 1 invitation went to Subclass 190 visa to Subclass 457/482 visa holders. The Canberra will hold the next ACT invitation round on or before 19 March 2021. The ACT gives the Territory nomination to Canberra Residents under the following skilled visa streams:

 

  • Skilled Work Regional (provisional) subclass 491 visa.
  • Skilled Nominated (permanent) subclass 190 visa.

At now, ACT may not issue invitations to the following:

 

  • For an occupation if the monthly cap is met. The cap will reset in April 2021
  • if you have an active application in the system; or have previously received ACT nomination

Canberra is prioritizing health response and recovery.

 

Australia is prioritizing the supporting economic and public health response and recovery from the Global pandemic now. Moreover, the Australia Migration program 2020-21 is supporting this cause.
