Posted - 15, Apr 2017

The title of this post may seem to you a bit exaggerated, however, it is not out of the question at all. The Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) have done exceptional work in terms of Express Entry draw results in the year 2017. Hence, the questions like the one asked in the title are absolutely justified.

Lets take look at the background of this question raised.

Exceptional EE Draw Results in 2017

Who would have thought in the beginning of this year that CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score requirement will drop down to 423 points? However, proving all the speculations and assumption wrong, IRCC actually announced it wide the 9th express entries draw of the year 2017.

Incredible 9th Draw of Express Entry

The 9th EE draw was incredible and exceptional in many ways. First of all, in this draw qualifying marks drop down to its lowest mark (423 points) in the history of two years of the federal express entry system. As a consequence of the low CRS score requirement, the number of invitations issued by IRCC during the draw rocketed up to staggering number, i.e. 3,923.

What are the expectations from upcoming 10th EE draw?

All express entry applicants are curious and hypothesized while thinking about the draw results of the upcoming 10th draw of federal express entry immigration system. However, no one really wants to predict or speculate anything about the CRS Score requirements in view of the unanticipated stand of IRCC this year. However, a big time question that keeping the applicants in the bubble is whether or not the qualifying marks or CRS Score requirement from IRCC will come closer to 400 marks.

Well, the mark of 400 is not, in fact, looking out of the question in view of current express entry draw trends. The way IRCC is reducing the qualifying marks in every EE draw; there wont be a surprise if the CRS score requirement from IRCC comes down near 400 in the next few EE draws. And if this happens, the number of invitations for the Canadian Permanent residency may shoot up close to 5,000.
