It is one of the International Skilled Worker streams managed under SINP, i.e., Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program. Individuals with have work experience in one of in-demand occupations in Saskatchewan and have obtained minimum required score on the SINP Points Assessment Grid can qualify to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) for the Occupation in Demand stream.
Those who successfully get a nomination through the ISW Occupation In-Demand stream will get an invitation to submit their final and complete Canadian PR application.
As mentioned, under this stream, the SINP uses a Points Assessment Grid for ranking eligible candidates and only those with most competitive scores receive an invitation to submit their application for provincial nomination.
Key Requirements - Saskatchewan ISW- Occupation in Demand
To qualify for the Occupations In-Demand stream, you must submit a proof of English or French language skills and must score at least CLB level 4 or above.
You must get educational credential assessment and must prove that your degree, diploma or certificate is equivalent to completing one-year post-secondary diploma in Canada. If your profession is regulated in the province, then you must show your certification or your eligibility for a certification.
You must have a full-time work experience of at least 1 year in high-skilled occupation listed under NOC skill level A, B, or 0. Also, the occupation should not be on SINP's Excluded Occupations List.
You must score at least 60 points out of 100 on the SINP's Points Assessment Grid to qualify along with supporting documentation.
You must meet IRCC's minimum settlement funds requirement to prove that you can manage the living expenses of yourself and your family member/s (if any) in Saskatchewan, Canada.
How to Apply under International Skilled Worker- Occupation in Demand Stream
This stream operates on exclusive Expression of Interest system and as an interested applicant, you must register an EOI profile through SINP's Online portal. Once you submit your profile, you get a score and a ranking along with other candidates using a Ranking System under SINP. The highest ranking ones among others get an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for provincial nomination via SINP Draws.
Once you obtain an invitation, you must submit an application to SINP within the stipulated time frame along with a non-refundable application fee of $350 CAD. If the program approves your application, you will get a notification about your provincial nomination approval by email. At this stage, you officially get a nomination, which qualifies you to submit an eAPR, i.e. electronic Application for Permanent Residence of Canada within six months.
About SINP Points Assessment Grid
Under Points Assessment Grid, you get a score out of 100 on various factors. In order to qualify for the nomiantion, you must score at least 60 points on the grid. Also, you must submit supporting documents along with your SINP application as an evidence of meeting the 60 point requirement.
