Bahrain- a key monarchy in the Persian Gulf has a huge part of its population as non nationals. Most of these non-citizens are from Asian origin. In such a scenario, migration to an overseas country is never out of question. Enjoying the life in relatively liberal nation with democratic setup, exceptional infrastructure, livable cities, quality of life, tolerant society forces many non-nationals to apply for Permanent residency in an advanced nation.
When it comes to obtaining permanent residency in an advance country, Canada comes right on top of the list with its soft immigration policy, well developed infrastructure, multiple job options, cultural diversity and tolerant society, etc.
Immigration to Canada from Bahrain
As already discussed, Canada is primary choice for non nationals in Bahrain, looking to live and work in a developed nation. Canada too needs skilled professionals and workers from overseas, who could fill the vacancies across its various provinces and help, counter the skill shortage in the country. Canadian government has designed several immigration Program to invite the skilled workers and their family members in the country, i.e. Federal Express Entry System, Provincial Nominee Program, Quebec Skilled Worker Program, Parents and Grandparents program, Student Visa, Spouse category visa, etc.
Federal Express Entry System- the fastest pathway to obtain Canadian PR
Launched in 2015 by IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada), Express Entry System is the fastest pathway to apply and obtain Permanent Residency in Canada. Express Entry is based on a point system called Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). The CRS assess the profile of the registered applicants based on key profile factors and subsequently, allocate them a point score called CRS score.
To succeed in Express Entry you need to have good point score based on your age, education, work experience, language ability (English or French) etc., parameters. The applicants applying for Canada PR as skilled worker, needs to register their profile in online Express Entry System and score minimum 67 points in the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) category to get selected in Express Entry Pool. The applicants, who qualify for the Express Entry pool will be invited through periodic draws by IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada). The IRCC will announce cut off marks for every draw, and applicants achieving the same become eligible to receive ITA (Invitation to Apply) from IRCC.
An applicant receiving ITA needs to submit complete Canadian PR visa application within 90 days (as per the new process).
