With aging population and relatively low birth-rates, the pressure is increasing significantly on the healthcare system of Canada. Moreover, the scarcity of workforce is evident in view of significant number of retirements. Canada Healthcare Occupation List comprise the list of healthcare occupations, which are highly in demand in Canada and fall under Healthcare Occupation category.
One approach to relieve this strain on Canada's healthcare system is to prioritize immigration candidates with established experience in healthcare occupations. This could help ease the growing demands on the healthcare system, which is already stretched thin.
A significant portion of vacancies in Healthcare are likely to be filled through the new category-based Express Entry draws being conducted by the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
